Join us at the Palace Theatre on Friday, October 17th as Teatro Lirico d’Europa performs Rigoletto; The story of a jester in the court of the Duke of Mantua. Rigoletto is a hunchback who is rather unattractive, but he is good at his job of humiliating the courtiers for the asmusement of the Duke.

“Death by Aria” at Stark Park
Friends of Stark Park and Opera New Hampshire are jointly sponsoring a program of opera and operetta arias on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at 6:00 pm.
Artists include Mezzo-Soprano Janice Edwards, Sopranos Jenny Masana and Shira Nafshi, and Tenor Maxwell McGrath.
These talented professionals are excited to present selections from operas both familiar and uncommon, including Mozart’s Die Zauberflote & Le Nozze di Figaro, Ponchielli’s La Gioconda, Dvořák’s Rusalka, Puccini’s La Boheme, Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah, and Leonard Bernstein’s Candide.
Charles Blood will accompany.

Stark Park Summer Series.
The event will include arias, duets, and ensemble selections from
“La Boheme”, Puccini; “Rigoletto”, Verdi; Die Fledermaus, Strauss; as well as other
well known operatic melodies. This light-hearted production will be a wonderful way for folks to experience opera
who may be new to the art form.
