Madama Butterfly is the love story of the Japanese geisha who loved her American sailor too well. Lieutenant Benjamin Franklin Pinkerton marries the fragile bride for dalliance, only to leave Japan and return with his American wife to claim his love-child. Giacomo Puccini paints the tragedy in his magnificent melodies and bittersweet arias that inescapably sweep the ingenuous Cio-Cio-San to suicide. In Italian with English supertitles.

In Ancient China, Princess Turandot has built a wall of impossible riddles around her heart to keep suitors away. Countless courtiers have failed to solve the three riddles and have been put to death as the mysterious Prince Calàf arrives determined to win her love, or die trying. The legendary fable plays out in spectacular settings with the famous aria "Nessun dorma,” colorful choruses and pageantry in Puccini's final masterpiece. Sung in Italian with English surtitles.
